The 7th Annual Bluet Brawl 5K Paddle Race

Let’s Race with Bluet SUP and Pacifico Beer this summer! We are inviting paddlers of all abilities, along with friends and family, to participate in the Bluet Brawl Paddle Race on Friday, June 25th.

Race Format:

  • 1 mile fun course race
  • SUP stand up paddle board – 5K race
  • Kayak – 5K race
  • OC-1 – 10 miles race
  • Prone – 5K race

Over 1000 sports enthusiasts and members of the SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) and Paddle community will come together at Pilot Knoll Park in Highland Village, Texas, for a weekend of incredible outdoor experiences.

Pacifico Beer and Bluet SUP welcome all paddlers, regardless of whether you are a weekend paddler or a highly accomplished athlete.

RACE FEE:

$75 per competitor after June 1st
$80 per competitor on Race Day

JUNE 18: Race Prep

SUP Pro, Mark Hrubant, leads a complimentary pre-race coaching session for Bluet Brawl participants. It will include a two-hour Forward-Stroke Foundations session and many of his top paddling secrets. You can book your class here.

JUNE 24: Pre-Paddle Party

A fun pre-race party is happening at The Bartonville Store on Friday – June 24, at 7 pm. Featuring complimentary Pacifico Beer, appetizers, and some of the best country music in the city, the night will be a memorable one!

JUNE 25: Race Day

7 am – Competitors’ Check-in start
8 am – Safety meeting (PFD and leashes required)
8:30 am – OC-1
8:45 am – Prone Paddlers
9 am – 5K SUP/Kayak
9:15 am – 1 Mile Fun Race Course
10:30 am – Winners announced

JUNE 25: Join us for the Paddle Festival

All paddlers, families, and communities are invited to be part of this outdoor event. The Bartonville Store Food Truck will be onsite to satisfy every appetite serving a special menu for the race. In addition, Mike Kekoa will delight the participants with incredible reggae tunes, and we will also be supporting local vendors throughout the day.

JUNE 26: Bluet Sup 10 Mile Paddle to Old Alton Bridge

Sunrise is one of the most magical times of day, and that is why the Tour to the Historical Old Alton Bridge is so special.
Our Pro-Athletes and Advanced Paddlers are invited for a fast-paced and fun 10-mile paddle.

This tour is free of charge, but you must bring your own board! Join another intense and thrilling day at Bluet SUP!
The tour is not suitable for beginners or intermediate paddlers.

Giving back to the community

Bluet SUP is passionate about the sport and is committed to giving back to the community. The Bluet Brawl 2022 Race is proud to raise funds for Camp Waves – Autism Surf Camp and the Melanoma Research Alliance. We will encourage our competitors and guests to donate or purchase a raffle ticket on race day as part of our donation and raffle ticket pledge.

Bluet SUP’s vision is to foster interest in SUP-Paddle racing throughout the nation and ensure that everyone can enjoy this exciting activity.
